Life in quarantine

Quarantine has turned our lives upside down. Every single aspect has changed. Is this for better or for worse? I think it depends on each of us. For some it means being away from their loved ones, but for others it means more of that dearest personal time. Many have taken up new hobbies like reading, or exercising. I personally have started making home-made food. Home-made. In these current times, everything is home-made, isn’t it? The meals, the work, the studies, the exercise, the learning… But what about love? For some, it is still home-made because we are lucky enough to be with our families; however, others may not have such fortune. Whether it’s a city or an ocean away, they are far from home. But they are probably trying to make that temporal dwelling home-made, each in their own way. These are some hard times, and maybe even hardly time. I can barely grasp the days and weeks going by; they just ran through my fingers. But for others time couldn’t run any more slowly. The clock is not ticking their way to their homes. I’m still not sure how to feel about this whole situation, but what I am sure of is that I hope that no matter where you are, you are at home.
